Co-Founder, Operational Lead & Assistant Coach
Kimia brings more than 20 years of tennis playing experience to Rhino Tennis Academy, combining a lifelong love of the game with a diverse professional background in child psychology, teaching and the arts.
As an assistant coach, she supports players on court while helping create the positive, encouraging environment that is central to the Rhino experience. Her understanding of how children learn and develop allows her to support young players with patience, confidence-building and an approach that recognises that every child progresses differently.
Kimia is certified in Clinical Child Psychology through the University of Edinburgh and in Teacher Training, and holds a BA in Art. Her experience in education and creative development brings an additional dimension to tennis coaching: encouraging concentration, coordination, self-expression, resilience and confidence while keeping learning enjoyable.
Her background also includes studio management, staff mentoring and community programmes, experience she brings to her role as Rhino’s Operational Lead. This combination of sport, education, creativity and organisation helps shape an academy where professional tennis development is balanced with a warm, personal atmosphere.
For children, that means an environment where they can learn tennis, build confidence and enjoy being on court. For adults, it means a welcoming academy where players of different levels can feel comfortable, supported and motivated to improve.
